A Night to Remember: Touching Lives, Changing World – Family First Ministries

On August 17, almost 300 guests were present to network over dinner on the theme, “Touching Lives, Changing World”. The auspicious event at Vistana Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was organized by Family First Malaysia and sponsored by one of the largest foundations from USA, The Lindell Foundation.

The guests comprised of Who is Who from churches, community and marketplace leaders. Among the VIPs present were former MCA presidents business tycoons, former federal health minister, former federal transport minister, former federal deputy minister of law, former head of state legislative council, and several individuals who are shakers and movers of industry.

To celebrate the night event organized by Family First Malaysia, the vehicle to transform lives, the electrifying atmosphere was kicked off by the founding chairman of Fellowship of Fathers Foundation and Family First Asia, Professor Gregory W. Slayton, followed by the founding chairman of The Lindell Foundation, Mr Michael Lindell.

Family First Malaysia with its two well respected advisors, Datuk Dr Daniel Ho and Datuk Chua Jui Meng, was founded on a shared vision as a community-focused organisation and is committed to serving the larger community, regardless of ethnicity, religious background or social status. The organization is built on the goal of supporting parenting led by the fathers and supported by the mothers as the locomotives to reach the community to build the society towards a strong nation.

Family First Malaysia’s chairman Tan Tek Seng shared on the 3F Focus for building better families, i.e. family, finance, and fitness, with plans for 3F Camps, CEO Family Cruise, and Family First Convention in the following year.

“The four qualities of a leader is love, humility, wisdom and courage, with love as the most distinctive quality,” added Dr Ramesh Richard, founder and president of the Global Proclamation Congress for Pastoral Trainers.

Renowned American producer, author, and actor, Stephen Baldwin made a special guest appearance, candidly sharing how God opened the door for him to share the gospel with Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Cannes Film Festival. Baldwin shared how he knew Christ through his house helper who shared the gospel with his wife. “I can honestly stand here tonight and share with you – despite all the money I make, all the experiences I got and all the fame I have –none of that compares to the experience I have with Jesus Christ,” said Baldwin who is a full-time minister for God today.

The event ended with Master Trainer of chief executives, Mr Gerald Bradley, proclaiming a prayer of blessing over the attendees of the night, perpetuating the widening impact of Family First Malaysia and her strategic partners to build better families, leading to a stronger nation!
